Weather Stripping
There are many different ways to seal a historic window. We can provide any of the traditional metal weather strippings that are commonly found on windows fabricated 75+ years ago. These metal products are extremely durable and provide a moderate seal for water and air penetration.
Re-View has also done extensive testing on more modern window seals to determine their durability and suitability for historic applications. Our engineers have determined how to hide these modern seals behind stop or the sash so its presence doesn't compromise the look of the window. Throught the use of more modern weather strippings, Re-View is capable of achieving top rankings on independent tests.
