Union Station Kansas City
Re-View performed the window restoration of 428 wood windows and 150 steel window units on the second largest train depot in the United States. We refurbished the wood window frames and manufactured replicated wood window sash to match the originals with the exception of incorporating insulated glass in the units to boost energy efficiency. The steel windows were refurbished and we restored all the existing brass hardware and had casts made to replicate missing or damaged hardware. Our craftsmen performed all on-site restoration, lead-based paint abatement, window fabrication, glazing, window installation, and finishing on this project.
