 | The historic brick housing units at F.E. Warren Air Force Base were built between 1888 and 1915. They have been on the National Historic Register since 1975. |
The F.E. Warren Air Force Base project involved restoring 155 military family housing units on this historic base. These homes are included in 88 buildings, called the "Old Historic Bricks" by locals, including 27 single-family, 58 two-family, and 3 four-family buildings. All of the buildings have been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1975 and the Base was designated a National Historic Landmark. Today, fewer than 2,500 places in the country have this designation.
 | Many of the housing units exceed 6,000 square feet and would be considered to be multi-million dollar mansions if they were located in your typical upscale neighborhood. |
Re-View is one of the only historic window companies that could handle a project of this magnitude. Our field carpenters spent 13 months onsite completing the project. We restored the existing windows on five of the more historically significant buildings and replaced the windows on the others. The project schedule was very tight since families were scheduled to move into the homes when they were completed. At one point, Re-View was completing 15 housing units a month. This project is a prime example of Re-View’s capability to manage a large scale project.
