The
Science City at Union Station project was a $235 million project
to convert an abandoned landmark building into a functional
science center for the Kansas City community. The structure
is recognized to be the second largest train station existing
in the United States today. |

was contracted to perform the window restoration on 428 wood
windows and 150 Steel window units. We performed all lead-paint
abatement, installation, fabrication, glazing, and finishing
on the project. |

Re-View
refurbished the wood window frames and replicated the sash with
insulated glass units to match the originals. The steel windows
were all refurbished. Re-View restored all of the existing brass
hardware and had casts made to replicate missing or damaged
hardware. |
