This shot taken prior to the restoration displays the grand scale of the City Hall. All work is being performed as the building is occupied. Re-View fabricated 1,476 window sash for the project.

Opened in 1908, the five-story domed structure was built at a cost of more than $2.6 million. As one of the nation's finest Beaux Arts style buildings, it features massive interior carved marble and fine paneling, a grand central staircase, stained glass skylights and decorative plaster and wrought-iron works. The central dome inside is made of copper and is flanked by atria with glass ceilings. The three-door main entrance is approached by a 20-stepstairway.

The City Hall has very decorative elements like this light fixture.

Re-View conducted a detailed survey of all window openings to establish dimensions and to gather details on the existing window design. Based upon samples collected at the City Hall, our engineers designed replacement sash to match exactly the existing details. Re-View laminated white oak veneer to mahogany for use on all sash parts. Mahogany is vastly superior in durability for exterior applications than white oak, but since the interior trim was all stained oak, we needed to apply it to the interior surface of the window. Re-View applied a factory stain on the interior and a factory primer and two finish coats on the exterior.
