The

In 1922,
Harry Truman won election as county judge for eastern Jackson County
as a candidate of the Pendergast faction of the Democratic Party.
The historic Independence Square is the setting for the beginning
of one of the most distinguished political careers of our time.
It was here, in the small office and administrative courtroom, that
Harry S Truman began his life of public service that carried him
from Independence, Missouri, to Washington, D.C.

The
true divided lite sash are fabricated from Honduras Mahogany,
which is a very durable hardwood for exterior applications.
|
 |
Re-View
was commissioned to restore the large multi-lite windows in this
historic landmark. One of the objectives of the project was to upgrade
the energy efficiency of the window system without compromising
the historic integrity of the structure. Re-View took the original
sash and copied all dimensions and profiles and then designed an
insulated glass window sash out of mahogany that exactly replicates
the original. These new sash were set in the original frames.
