Obscure glass is most commonly used for restroom applications on our historic projects. We have used the Florex and Pattern 62 styles most frequently. Florex provides a classic pattern that is very similar to classic historic glass. Pattern 62 is very effective at providing privacy without compromising light. You may select either patterns for windows fabricated by Re-View.

FLOREX PATTERN

A lovely choice for many applications, Florex is a patterned glass solution from AFG that combines form with function—making it a perfect solution when aesthetics cannot be compromised. With a distinctive pattern reminiscent of flowers, AFG’s Florex patterned product adds the perfect touch to historic projects. The simple beauty of Florex—combined with its ability to diffuse light—makes it an ideal choice for applications such as foyers, doorways, transoms, bathrooms, and interior partitions. Available in a 5/32" thickness and a maximum size of 60" x 132", Florex is temperable and durable—despite its delicate beauty.

PATTERN 62

Pattern 62 from is a longtime favorite of historic applications, is available in a range of thicknesses, and suitable for both tempering and laminating. Few patterned glass products offer the timeless appeal and versatility of Pattern 62. In addition to offering an attractive appearance, obscurity, and light transmission capabilities, Pattern 62 provides maximum flexibility, making it perfect for virtually any application. Pattern 62 is available in standard thicknesses of SS, DS, 1/8", 5/32", and 3/16"—and all thicknesses over 1/8" are suitable for tempering. Pattern 62 has the unique ability to be laminated, and is available in a maximum size of 60" x 132".
